**What’s the role?**

We are a new team within News Corp Australia adopting a startup approach to disrupt the digital media and comparison markets. Our ambition is to be the #1 destination for consumers to compare products on financial wellbeing decisions and generate quality leads for businesses across several categories.

This is a leadership role with the primary focus of setting and executing the strategy to drive traffic growth and performance outcomes for News Compare’s products through a collaborative and performance-focused leadership style, building an innovative lead generation operation and advocating the team values to grow the team culture.

The Head of Growth will bring a wealth of experience across the lead generation function’s key accountabilities including consumer research, traffic generation, content creation, conversion optimisation and data & analytics.

You are an analytical and strategic thinker with the ability to think creatively and identify and capitalise on new opportunities for growth across multiple channels. Continually ideating and executing growth driving ideas, and analysing results to refine and optimise activities to increase leads.

Key accountabilities for the role include:

- Organic search strategy and planning
- Paid and earned traffic strategy and planning
- Editorial strategy and content creation
- Conversion of audience traffic into quality client leads
- Client campaign management
- CRO strategy and planning
- Performance reporting
- Data analysis
- Customer journey tracking
- Consumer research and insights

This role can be based in either of Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne main office locations, working in a hybrid arrangement with three days in the office, and then other days working from home.

**Who you are**
- Demonstrated executive success leading Marketing Operations in a Digital Performance environment
- Demonstrated executive success leading organic search and content lead marketing businesses
- Leading, empowering and inspiring a team to deliver, improve, and continually succeed
- Demonstrated success in execution and delivery of key traffic and revenue growth initiatives
- Led best practice Marketing teams, notably in lead generation and launched market-leading products
- Proven experience in a B2C growth-centric role with experience across a range of different channels (and ways of reaching and attracting quality leads)
- Proven track record of building and scaling a new brand’s audience traffic and able to tie efforts to awareness, acquisition and revenue outcomes
- Exceptional project management skills
- Exceptional at building relationships and effective stakeholder
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- High level written communication skills and expertise in crafting compelling and relevant proposals and reporting
