South Melbourne Dim Sim Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Production Manager (Manufacturing) to head our production team in full-time capacity.
Our business was established in 1949 by Ken Cheng and has been operated by the same family for more than 6 decades. It has long been widely regarded as the best Dim Sim company in the country. There have always. been long queuers at our original stall at the. South Melbourne Market to sample the South Melbourne Dimmie but it's worth the wait.
Based in Thornbury, we are seeking a Production Manager with a least 5 years of employment experience in the food manufacturing sector.
**Job Description**:
- Planning and ensuring the smooth running of our production plant
*Maintenance and implementation of food production systems and processes.
*Monitoring production output and costs.
*Supervise production processes to ensure product quality meets customer expectations.
*Develop production schedules and maintain an inventory of raw materials and finished products, focusing on the optimum use of materials, labour and equipment.
- Monitoring staff performance.
*Identifying and implementing production improvement opportunities.
*Directing the implementation of occupational health and safety standards.
The Successful Applicant will have:
*4 years experience in the Food Industry
*4 years experience in the Food Production role
*Strong attention to Detail.
*Can do attitude and not afraid to make tough decisions.
*Understanding : HACCP, OHS, GMS
*Sound knowledge of general machinery maintenance to ensure immediate reaction to break downs.
Excellent remuneration for the successful applicant.
(starting at $70,000 per annum)
**Salary**: $70,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Thornbury, VIC 3071: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
