The Associate Director Corporate Banking is critical to making this happen and will:

- manage relationships with customers in the middle market segment which are often large private family groups, ASX small caps and professional service companies many of which ANZ has had a very long-term relationship with
- develop new connections and / or using your existing connections to originate new to bank business
- maintain and grow existing customer base
- cultivate a close relationship to understand of the needs of your customers and effectively implementing banking solutions to support their business objectives

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

- Genuine enjoyment working with people, inquisitive approach, building on existing relationships and meeting new people through networking
- Self-awareness and listening skills and an ability to flex leadership and communication styles to be effective with a range of people in different situations
- Credit analysis and structuring skills including an ability to make sound decisions and talk confidently in front of customers regarding bank appetite
- Stake-holder management skills, an ability to prioritise multiple tasks and be comfortable operating in a fast-paced and unpredictable environment
- Resilience in the face of challenge and pressure, high levels of motivation and an ability to motivate others through all situations
- Whilst prior frontline relationship management experience is well-regarded, it is not mandatory to be considered
