**Role Description/Criteria**

Due to the continued growth of our school community at St George Preca, we are continuing and developing our Maths Tutoring Support program in 2024 to further support our students.

This fixed-term contract is for the 2024 school year, with the possibility of the position being available beyond the end of 2024. This position is full-time, however, time allocation is also negotiable.

St George Preca Parish Primary School in the Parish of St Catherine of Siena, Caroline Springs. The 2023 enrolment is approx. 700 students from Prep to Grade 6.

We are seeking a teacher committed to developing their professional knowledge and skills for the benefit of the students in their care.

Applicants must be able to:

- demonstrate a strong commitment to the ideals and ethos of Catholic Education
- demonstrate a commitment to and understanding of contemporary learning and teaching
- administer and interpret specific diagnostic screeners and curriculum-based assessments
- monitor and report on student achievement data
- manage a student intervention caseload based on intervention cycles
- collect pre/post-intervention data on all students
- attend PSG meetings where applicable
- demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills with colleagues, parents, and students
- be committed to personal and professional growth
- have registration (or eligibility) with V.I.T.
- preferably have accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School
