The Mortgages Tribe has embarked on a strategic programme to automate, digitise and optimise processes related to mortgage origination and in-life experiences. The Chapter Lead - Mortgage Projects has a key role in the tribe and will be accountable for the successful delivery of a number of new and in-flight projects. This includes oversight of tribe as well as project resourcing, backlog management, financial and vendor management throughout the design, development, testing and deployment phases.

The Chapter Lead will be responsible for guiding Product Owners, Business Analysts and other team members in the delivery of their respective work streams. This role requires strong communication, planning, stakeholder management/influencing and leadership skills.

**What **are you going to do? You will***
- Collaborate with stakeholders in Operations, Sales, Product and Technology to develop strategic roadmap for Mortgage Digitisation
- Work proactively with all parts of the Business, to ensure that stakeholders expectations are managed and needs are met
- Facilitate collaboration and coordination across all relevant stakeholders, to ensure projects are delivered meeting agreed objectives and success criteria
- Effectively manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, workforce planning, procurement, stakeholders, integration and risks/issues across multiple streams
- Ensure the appropriate project management methodologies/techniques are employed to successfully deliver projects
- Provide coaching and support for team members and resolve road blocks and prioritise
- Provide accurate and timely communication of project status, risks and issues to stakeholders, escalating appropriately

**What are we looking for? Someone who has**
- Proven track record in a senior delivery role, specifically with mortgages or mortgage products
- Experience leading teams and managing direct reports - strong coaching, team building and facilitation skills
- Experience in a customer environment, where the customer needs are at the heart of the proposition development
- Excellent stakeholder management skills to align stakeholders and bridge business and IT on all aspects
- Experience delivering large IT projects in an agile environment
