**General Building Maintenance Assistant**

**Casual Position**

**Commencing ASAP**

**The Role**

Utilise your previous maintenance or propertiesexperience working within a dynamic team. You will perform a range of tasks relating to the routine maintenance and upkeep of the College. In addition, you will assist with the set up and removal of furniture and equipment for school activities and identify and report maintenance and safety issues.

**Responsibilities**

Your responsibilities will include a range of tasks including but not limited to;
- Routine maintenance of buildings and grounds
- Carrying out carpentry, tiling, painting, welding, repair, and maintenance tasks to buildings
- Ensuring the College is maintained and presented to a high standard at all times
- Ensure the proper and safe use and storage of all materials, consumables and gardening equipment
- Other duties as required.

**About You**
- Trade qualified within building, electrical, plumbing and/or trade assistance experience is preferred but not essential
- Availability to work up to 38 hours a week is preferred. The span of working hours is between 6.30am - 4:00pm Monday - Friday
- Previous experience working within a maintenance or properties role is preferred
- White Card ticket essential
- Ability to prioritise and work with limited supervision
- Good communication skills teamed with a positive and flexible attitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to drive a manual ute is avantageous.
