**Job Description**:
Anglo American’s Vacation Program is an opportunity for university students seeking to gain hands on experience in their field of study and prepare themselves for graduate employment.

Our Summer Vacation program is now open. It is a 12-week paid placement in one of our operations in **Central Queensland** from November 2023 till February 2024.

Key features of the Vacation Employment Program:

- Maximum 12 weeks’ work experience at our Site Operations
- Hands-on responsibilities with possibility of project work
- Opportunity to fast track into Anglo American Steelmaking Coal Graduate Program

Our Australian team consists of over 4,000 talented mining professionals who will help and develop you while working on real projects at our open cut and underground operations or in our corporate office. Under the guidance of experienced mentors, you’ll find yourself in the best possible position to make the most of everything you’ve learned so far.

**Qualifications**:
Do you have what we’re looking for?

You need to:

- Be currently studying toward a degree or postgraduate degree (Honours or Masters) in disciplines relevant to Geology.
- Be a student from 2nd year through to penultimate year
- Be team players with strong leadership potential.
- Demonstrate drive, ambition and a passion for challenging work in our operations.
- Actively participate in campus and community life.
- Be willing and able to work in Central Queensland for the duration of the Vacation Program
