**About us**

The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority, and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state.

The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately 90 per cent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.

**About the role**

To be part of the business support team, delivering business support services including, managing the central administration of the Court Fund, Co-ordinating all Court Fund payments, providing authoritative, administrative, and associated advice and recommendations on matters pertaining to the Court Fund, business support services and other administrative activities in accordance with relevant policies, procedures, legislation, regulations and directions.

**About you**

The ability to coordinate office administration activities within a defined scope. Able to exercise professional judgement to effectively manage one's own time and the time of others. Able to use effective interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain effective networks with internal and external stakeholders and other administrative officers to progress work. Ability to provide advice to key stakeholders in relation to business area activities.

Able to identify and initiate opportunities for improvements to systems, processes or tools.
