- **Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $103,993 to $117,183 + super (PO1B)**
**_ Are you an experienced environmental assessor, environmental management professional, planner, scientist, or engineer who is looking to progress your career in a dynamic and rewarding role based in Parramatta CBD?_**
**In This Role You Will**
- Assess the merits of State significant projects in line with best practice frameworks and benchmark assessment outcome turnaround times.
- Produce high quality work on a wide range of planning matters, including the preparation of well written reports and briefing notes and effective conditions of consent.
- Identify, critically analyse and evaluate key issues, recommend innovative options, solutions, practices and processes to enable timely responses to customer enquiries and to assist in resolving disputes.
- Input into new policy and legislative initiatives relevant to the role, such as around waste management, circular economy, design review, Regulation reform and renewable energy such as hydrogen.
- Work collaboratively within the assessment team to deliver State significant project assessments.
- Build and maintain effective relationships, and strengthen engagement with key stakeholders to provide information, respond to enquiries and resolve disputes effectively.
