As **Wintel Technician **work on the development, design, build, installation, configuration, and deployment of network. To succeed in this endeavour, you will:
- Support, manage and patch Microsoft OS and product based Enterprise
- Assist with development and build defect remediation
- Write and peer review designs, build guides and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Requirements gathering and analysis
- Development, build and maintenance of system automation routines
- Work closely with Test, Engineering and Support teams
- Design, build, deploy and support complex network solutions.
- Provide Network SME advice to the customer, and internal & external stakeholders to facilitate project definition, system architecture and process improvement.
- Create Knowledge Articles (KA’s) on key processes, network devices and systems that can be used across the service desk and wider community of IT support staff.
- Identify innovative service improvements that provide additional value to network solutions.
- Provide training and support to customer and project team.

Our work is highly complex and confidential, so there are some things you must have to fulfil this role:
- Ability to maintain a Negative Vetting 2 (NV2) security clearance as required by the Commonwealth
- Ability to work independently and part of a team
- Good communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
We’re also looking for experience with the following:
- Microsoft WDS and WSUS
- Operating System Patching and Application Deployment
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory including
- Group Policy Objects
- Delegation of Controls
- Group Membership
- PowerShell scripting
- Expertise with Tanium and/or SCCM
- Expertise with Application deployment and whitelisting
- Sound understanding of ITIL best practice and ISO Quality Standards.
- Experience with the following:
- Tanium Software Deployment
- Microsoft Development Toolkit
- Admin Studio Toolset
- The latest Windows Operating Systems
**Note **- you may be required to carry phone, and be available on an on-call roster.
