**The Role**
The APS 5 Contract Management Officer is to assist with and undertake procurement planning, tendering and contract formation and contract management activities, ensuring compliance with legislation, procurement policies, processes and procedures.

The APS 5 Contract Management Officer is responsible for managing:

- Monthly Operations reporting
- Local co-ordination with the Training Device Managers (TDM)
- Facilities management issues
- Disposals management
- Simulator accreditation contract for Army Aviation Flight Training Devices.
- Construct Finance documents, monitor and action quotes and invoices for Training Systems devices.
- Carry out data management as required for Training Systems

**About our Team**
Army Aviation Systems Program Office (AASPO) - is located in South East Queensland, with offices in Brisbane CBD, Brisbane Airport and Oakey. As part of the Rotary, Aerospace and Surveillance Systems Division within Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG), Army Aviation Systems Program Office (AASPO) is part of the Army Aviation Systems Branch, and is principally responsible for the sustainment of the Multi-Role Helicopter Taipan and Army Reconnaissance Helicopter Tiger.

In support of these helicopter platforms, the Aviation C4ISREW Training and Support Systems (ACTSS) team, within AASPO, is responsible for the management, delivery and support of a range of common products and systems across multiple Army aircraft types.

The Products and Services are managed in three main areas; sustainment projects and activities around common C4ISREW, Ground Support and Role Equipment, Aviation Personal Combat equipment, Aviation expeditionary & Replenishment Ops and also common Support Services; Aviation Mission System provides flight planning and mission management services across Army and Navy rotary wing fleets within the ADF; and Training Systems section within ACTSS is responsible for the sustainment of training devices supporting individual Army Aviation training.

- Experienced in undertaking procurement planning, tendering, contract formation and management, compliance with legislation and procurement policies and procedures.
- Has experience with financial investigation

- Experienced in seeking, interpreting, recommending and providing advice and assistance on moderately complex procurement and contract management issues.
