**The Opportunity**:
As an office all-rounder (receptionist &administrator) you will be the backbone of the team, helping it function efficiently and ensure that everything runs smoothly. You will be the first point of contact for customers over the phone and face to face while ensuring all the administrative components are taken care of with the highest of accuracy. Creating a 1st class customer service experience to both internal and external stakeholders will give you a buzz This practice is involved with multiple related projects, expos, and workshops that you will also have to support and will be able to get involved in. We are looking for someone who is proactive, can take initiative and is comfortable following the set process. Experience working in an all-rounder (receptionist and administration) background within the medical field would be highly desirable but isn’t essential. Training will be provided.

**The responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:

- Acting as the first point of contact and greeting customers as they arrive - creating a warm feel and making them feel welcome
- Booking and managing appointments for multiple practitioners over the phone
- Collecting information, maintaining privacy and accurately entering information into the system
- Processing invoices payments and healthcare rebates (Medicare & Private Health Insurance)
- Following up and manage referrals and letters from GP’s and other clinicians
- Following up with NDIS/Victim Services Correspondence and seeking Work Cover Approvals
- Typing letters, report writing, creating templates and policies and procedures
- Supporting projects and completing projects in a timely manner
- Supporting the Office Manager and Director as required
- General cleaning duties to ensure the office is well presented

**Does this sound like you?**
- Previous office-all-rounder (receptionist & administration) experience
- Previous experience working in a medical environment is highly desirable but not essential
- Previous medical terminology would be highly desirable but not essential
- Exceptional phone manner and customer service skills
- Excellent communication (verbal & written), interpersonal and organisational skills
- Strong multi-tasking, time management and ability to work autonomously
- Experience working in a medical environment would be highly desirable but not essential
- Experience processing Medicare and Private Insurance rebates would be highly desirable but not essential
- Work as a team player supporting practitioners, colleagues and Director
- Support the Director in creating a ‘fun’ environment, organising milestones, events and an overall pleasant workplace
- Must be a genuine people person who is positive, enthusiastic and thrives working in a busy environment
- Strong computer skills are highly desirable
- Drivers Licence is required for trips to the post office and other ad-hoc requirements
