A key enabler for this vision is the Customer 360 - a single view of customer data, bringing together all of the data required to enable our customers to live longer, healthier and happier lives. We need an exceptional Product Owner for Customer 360 to lead the prioritisation of features that increases the data density of our customers, with a deep understanding of existing data density and the potency of particular attributes to enable priority use cases. You will be comfortable developing data acquisition strategies to increase data density that will enable an increase in the breath of use cases as well as accuracy of models. As an accomplished change agent and practitioner of lean, agile ways of working you will be passionate about systems change and using data to make decisions, measure progress and transform healthcare.
The PO, C360 is a highly strategic data role, supporting the advancement of how data informs Bupa’s product strategy and our partner ecosystem to accelerate pace, agility and growth across the APAC market. This role will identify opportunities for impact, explain the value of customer data to diverse audiences, and build delivery confidence by sharing and adhering to a transparent roadmap. As an accomplished change agent and practitioner of lean, agile ways of working you will be passionate about systems change and using data to make decisions, measure progress and transform healthcare.
With extensive Product Owner experience, you will have deep data domain expertise and a proven track record of agile delivery. You will consult extensively with stakeholders across Bupa to translate the data strategy into tasks reflective of the business’ priorities, and, where appropriate, one step ahead of the needs of the organisation.
The impact of your work will be measured through the data flywheel: with equal parts’ focus on - doing the right things (value creation), in the right way (data democratisation) and with the right data (findable, accessible, interoperable, reusable).
About You
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Demonstrated experience as a Product Owner within an agile data squad with a deep understanding of the end-to-end data value chain.
- A genuine passion and empathy for Bupa customers, with an understanding of their customer journeys and preferences.
- Expertise in modern forms of product planning, customer discovery, product discovery, and product development process and execution.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complexity and ambiguity, with ability to analyse information logically to make evidence-based decisions.
- 5+ years’ experience in data ecosystems, with knowledge of Microsoft Azure platforms preferred.
- Emotionally intelligent, strategic innovator with proven ability to influence all parts of the system required to create sustainable change, in order to see data as critical to our competitive advantage.
- Proven leader, with experience in building and leading cross-functional, collaborative teams; acting as a role model of the Bupa values, and able to flex and challenge your personal style in response to the situation.
- Strong coaching team ethos to build on strengths and improve on blind spots, giving and listening to feedback, and growing Bupa’s new generation of leaders.
