**About the Role**
Reporting to the Manger: Cyber Security, the Information Technology Graduate (Cyber Security) is a developmental position for recent Graduates from UniSA with a relevant IT qualification to build on their knowledge and further develop their skills and experience through undertaking duties and projects within the Information Strategy and Technology Services teams.

**Information Strategy and Technology Services (ISTS)**, which has the primary strategic and operational responsibility for the provision of the UniSA’s considerable IT infrastructure and services has approximately 170 staff in 10 key areas.
Information Strategy and Technology Services has a commitment to staff development and provides a professional environment in which to work. Skills development is encouraged and while this position is within a specific area, opportunities will arise to work in other areas of information technology.
The Cyber Security team is responsible for proactively managing the risks to the University’s computers, networks and data to protect against a variety of threats, including security breaches, computer viruses or attacks by cyber-criminals. The team provides the University community with expert advice on cyber security protection, detection, response and recovery. Additionally, the team is responsible for dealing with breaches and incidents promptly and effectively and for implementing mechanisms to prevent or minimise reoccurrence.
**Essential Skills and Experience**
- Completed UniSA tertiary qualification or with expected completion in 2024
- Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary cyber security environment
- Working knowledge of technical cyber security solutions
- Demonstrated understanding of risk management as it related to cyber security
- Demonstrated ability to quickly become a productive member of a cross-functional team
