**About the role**:
To thrive in the role, you will have a passion for community sport & recreation and a commitment to identify and document sports facility projects, including technical project briefs and specifications for a range of projects within Council’s sportsground portfolio. you will be responsible to supervise construction of sport facility assets, ensuring compliance with design, technical specifications and sound horticultural/civil construction practice.

You will have a keen focus on identifying opportunities to drive participation in local sport. You’re someone with an interest in project management who is willing to lead and support your peers to deliver quality outcomes that enhance the sense of community. You will be agile, dynamic, love working with people and are always challenging yourself to find a better way

- Relevant experience in project management including project identification and documentation
- Ability to supervise project delivery, ensuring compliance with design, technical specifications and sound horticultural practice;
- Experience in managing communications and engagement with stakeholders across a broad range of community and sporting organisations;
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of internal stakeholders for documentation and delivery of identified projects;
- High level report writing and document review skills;
- Knowledge of Council procurement and contract requirements as they relate to project delivery
- Commitment to role modelling our values of respect, integrity, trust, teamwork and optimism
