**About the role**:

**We are looking for a passionate and highly motivated Careers and Employability Advisor who thrives on facilitating positive career and employment outcomes for students.**

**Careers education and consultation**:
- Support students to understand and develop the employability skills that underpin successful careers in the relevant field/s by leveraging and nurturing the strengths of the Learning Hub
- Develop diverse opportunities to connect students with personalised careers advice and support
- Generate an evidence base that provides actionable insights to assist internal student
- and staff-facing teams to enable student success
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to grow the reputation of ACAP graduates
**Employability events, workshops and resources**:
- Oversee the development of engaging and accessible student-facing resources for a diverse multidisciplinary cohort and that connects to student needs across the learning journey
- Identify and develop opportunities to support graduate employability by designing workshops and careers events that inspire and prepare students for professional placement opportunities
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Employability Toolkit
**It is essential you can demonstrate**:
- A tertiary qualification in career education or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through a combination of education, training and/or experience in a higher education context.
- Experience and interest in mentoring and developing students in their career decisions.
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills with proven ability to deal with multiple tasks, establish priorities and meet required deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to identify project needs across the career services portfolio and develop proposals for success.
- Demonstrated success in the coordination, preparation and delivery of workshops and presentations to students and staff.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with a wide range of audiences.
