**About Gold Coast Light Rail Stage 3**:
Gold Coast Light Rail has transformed public transport on the Gold Coast, helping create an integrated network that connects more people to more places in one of Australia's most dynamic and fastest growing cities.

John Holland is GoldlinQ's nominated design and construction contractor for GCLR3, to extend the existing light rail network by 6.7kms from Broadbeach to Burleigh Heads, including eight new light rail stations, two new light rail-bus connections, and intersection upgrades along the alignment.

Jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland governments, and the City of Gold Coast, this city-shaping project will link communities to business centres, shopping, dining, education and medical facilities and cater to the Gold Coast's expected population growth in the coming decades.

As construction of GCLR3 gets under way, John Holland is actively recruiting for a talented and driven Communications & Business Engagement Advisor to join our team and play a key role in the successful delivery of this iconic Gold Coast project.

**Responsibilities of the role include**:

- Manage and implement the project's Business Engagement Plan and the associated activities under the Communications and Stakeholder Management Plan
- Drive the implementation of the Love Your Local campaign for the Gold Coast including the Shop Local and Win competition
- Facilitate third party business support services and initiatives for alignment businesses
- Prepare responses to media enquiries, with the ability to draft proactive media releases
- Day to day management of the website content for Business information and Love Your Local
- Lead the development and implementation of the GCLR3 Science Tram
- Support the development and implementation of the GCLR3 Community Benefit Fund
- Copywrite and consolidate project newsletters, business EDMs and other collateral and communications material as required.

**To be successful in this role, you must have**:

- A Bachelors degree in Communications, Business, Law, Journalism or equivalent experience
- Previous experience working in a similar stakeholder engagement role, delivering major transport or infrastructure projects
- Local understanding of the Gold Coast and it's communities
