genU is looking for an **Instructional Designer** to join the team
The** Instructional Designer-Digital Learning **position purpose is to develop learning & assessment materials and engaging content for accredited & non-accredited course delivery. This includes products for qualifications, short-courses and micro-credentials.
Key responsibilities of the **Instructional Designer-Digital Learning **include planning innovative and engaging learning and assessments, reviewing and assessing content within a VET framework, actively participate in a multi-disciplinary team-based environment and support collaborative discussions promoting best practise and opportunities for creative approaches to product development.
**This is a part-time, ongoing position with flexible working arrangements. The role can be either Geelong or Melbourne based dependant on what suits you**
**About You**:
- Our ideal _**_Instructional Designer_**_ will have:_
- Creative ability in training methodology.
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated high-level interpersonal communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain networks and contacts and relate to stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
- Comprehensive skills in MS Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to work to project deadlines.
- Ability to monitor client and stakeholder satisfaction, and constructively manage stakeholder issues to ensure positive outcomes.
- Highly developed skills in working with and developing training for a wide range of units of competency, learning types and delivery modes.
- Ability to complete multiple projects simultaneously including but not limited to; new design, review and improvement of existing resources and other projects as required.
- Essential Requirements:_
- Relevant experience in training and instructional design in an education / RTO setting.
- Experience in using Articulate 360 and Articulate Storyline, HTML and h5p.
- Knowledge of adult education theory and skills in delivery of training.
- Relevant qualifications in design and development and/or eLearning.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.
- Current NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate or willingness to obtain.
