**About the role**:
The Industry Engagement & Placement Coordinator - Health Programs position will coordinate placement opportunities for students enrolled in all courses within the Health Programs portfolio, including Health Services Assistance, Allied Health Assistance, Aged Care, Dental Assisting, and Operating Theatre Technician courses. To do so, the position will involve seeking new and managing existing placement agreements, booking placements through In Place, Placeright, and other industry preferred databases, reporting on placement data, liaising with relevant teachers and coordinators to schedule workplace visits and assessments, and troubleshooting any problems that occur while students are in the workplace.

**Your Skills and Qualifications**:
**Qualifications**:

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or a qualification at diploma level or higher in AdultEducation is essential.
- AQF 6 or higher teaching qualification including a supervised teaching practice is preferable or the willingnessto complete an AQF 6 qualification is essential
- A qualification relevant to those delivered within the Health Programs portfolio, such as:

- Certificate III in Individual Support
- Certificate IV in Aged Care
- Certificate III in Health Services Assistant
- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance
- Bachelor of Nursing with AHPRA Registration
- Diploma of Nursing with AHPRA Registration

Expertise Requirements
- Vocational Expertise: Extensive experience in relevant health and/or aged care discipline. Experience in healthand/or aged care leadership and administration. Highly developed educational leadership expertise plusextensive management and/or teaching skills.
- People management: Demonstrated experience managing and motivating a high performance team ofteaching employees, managing performance, facilitating development and providing feedback and coachingimproving productivity and performance.
