**About the role**

The Visitor Services Officers (VSOs) provide a welcoming environment and high-quality experience for WA Museum visitors. They help to ensure the safety of visitors and staff within the Museum, as well as the security of the Museum Collection.

**About you**

We are seeking dynamic, self-motivated individuals who enjoy working in a positive team environment and delivering high quality customer service.

The successful applicant will be expected to:

- Provide a high level of visitor engagement through advanced tours, technology, and interpretive programs.
- Process admission sales.
- Support public events and functions through either the event set-up and/or pack down, and through tours.
- Provide a high standard of security and safety for visitors and the Museum precinct.

**Eligibility to Apply**

A current (within 6 months) **National Police Clearance Certificate** will be required prior to commencement of employment, as per the Department’s Police Record Screening Policy.

**Pool Recruitment**

This Pool will be open for a period of 12 months from the day after the breach of standard claim period closes. **Permanent, fixed term, full-time, part-time, and casual appointments **may be offered as vacancies arise; however, an appointment is not guaranteed.
