**What does the role involve?**

The Supervisor will lead a team of freight handlers to deliver against agreed budget and performance outcomes for a given facility functional area. The Supervisor will facilitate the continued improvement of the facility operations by analysing current performance, identifying improvement opportunities and developing improvement action plans in conjunction with the Senior Supervisor. This role is focussed on delivering continual efficiency improvement with a focus on cost effective Business outcomes in the pursuit of service excellence.

The Supervisor will provide clear direction, accountability and collaboration across facility processing teams in alignment with business objectives.

**What are the key responsibilities?**
- Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, including managing customer relationships in collaboration with commercial and customer service teams, as required
- Actively develop and foster a capable support and team network to ensure commitment to facility objectives
- Manage allocation of appropriate resources and commitment of staff to enable achievement of facility objectives
- Lead change and innovation within their team
- Drive new cultural practices, systems and processes that support desired change
- Complete reports that provide statistical data and conduct trend analysis to assist in developing proactive and targeted improvement activities and programs within the local facility space.
