The Role

We are excited to offer a great opportunity for a Procurement Analyst to support the daily operations of our Wetherill Park site. The Procurement Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that the business has an adequate quantity of essential materials or services to operate effectively. This includes managing stock inventories, creating detailed and comprehensive specifications for the required products or services, tendering with potential suppliers, evaluating competing bids and negotiating prices.

Our Wetherill Park site in Sydney is our Milk Based Beverages (MMB) hub for the eastern seaboard. The site manufactures fresh and extended shelf-life products, including our short pack format MBB and Ultra Heat Treated (UHT) long-life unrefrigerated milk. This state-of-the-art facility has benefited from past and ongoing large-scale investment and produces 75 million litres of some of Australia's most loved dairy products, including Dare Iced Coffee, Dairy Farmers, Farmers Union, and Big M.

**Responsibilities**:
- Achieve specific procurement goals and improve established procedures within the area of responsibility.- Efficiently summarize and identify trends in findings, provide constructive feedback to enhance the performance of current contracts, and contribute valuable insights to optimize the negotiation/renegotiation processes for new contracts.- Collect and analyse market data, including cost drivers, dynamics, innovation, and suppliers for low-risk areas with multiple options at minimum costs- Resolve queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on complex processes and related policies.- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and establishes partnerships to achieve common goals

About you- Experienced procurement/purchasing practitioner with an FMCG background- Solid data analytics skills, including the ability to extract, interpret, evaluate, and analyze data using Excel and Power BI- Demonstrated understanding of ESG initiatives in Procurement, including sustainability, Indigenous Procurement, social enterprises, and modern slavery for a large organization.- Experience and familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and finance systems at an enterprise level- Ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships at all levels.
