**Position Summary**:
Responsible for creating and leading the transformation of the value chain capability across our ANZ business, championing and driving initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. You will drive process improvements via practical process improvement (PPI) or Lean Six Sigma as well as business process maturity (BPM) across all functions of the ANZ organization; with a focus on Voice Of Customer, Productivity and Quality and to significantly contribute to achieving the ANZ business goals.
You will also represent ANZ with the Global PPI team working to identify ways to accelerate culture change and embed the PPI Business System as a ‘way-of-life' across ANZ. Additionally, you will be accountable for the successful deployment of strategic plans, motivating and engaging an informal team of local PPI certified experts from across all areas of the ANZ business, to ensure a return on investments and results.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop a cohort of Core Business Process Owners within ANZ (and globally as needed) to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the complex ecosystem that our team members are working within, to ensure that our speed and reliability improves.
- Own and manage the PPI/BPM project pipeline to deliver expected results; prioritizing initiatives that deliver ROI for the business, our customers and our employees by demonstrating tangible cost benefits, accelerated business growth and/or prevention of lost business
- Establish strong capability across the business for business analytics and performance insights, focusing first on the quote to cash process, then expanding beyond to all core business processes
- Partner with Finance and other personnel to evaluate project results including financial, customer and employee impacts
- Challenge organisational leaders as necessary to create an action-biased culture of continuous improvement and accountability to improve their KPl's including growth, productivity, asset utilization, inventory and customer allegiance. Link project priorities and outcomes to business direction, KPls and Strategies
- Maintain a communication plan that keeps the business and employees informed of pipeline status, project outcomes and their contribution to the business, customers and employees
- Work with commercial leaders, and where appropriate partner with key customers, to overcome challenges by using PPI / BPM business systems and acting as facilitator to lead outcomes
- Create and lead an informal network of PPI / BPM change agents across divisions and locations,
- Lead, motivate, develop and coach the PPI / BPM team and build capability and technical expertise within team through comprehensive development plans
- Lead a continuous improvement culture that encourages employee involvement and ownership to drive business results.
- Identify best practices within or outside the company and serve as a conduit for best practice sharing
- Work with a sense of urgency to motivate & drive stakeholders to complete actions within agreed timelines
