Casual Student Ambassador

**About the role**
We are currently seeking expressions of interest for our next group of student ambassadors to represent the university and connect with our future students

Each year we employ a diverse range of student ambassadors for paid casual work through the Student Employment Scheme. Student ambassadors represent the university at both online and in-person recruitment events, such as Open Day, work on marketing initiatives, such as social media campaigns, and assist with student recruitment projects.

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Represent the University as a Student Ambassador through engagement with external audiences - providing prospective students, parents and career advisers a firsthand account of student life at Notre Dame.
- Assist the Prospective Students Office in recruiting domestic students to the undergraduate and postgraduate courses of the University in accordance with University policies and strategies.
- Provide prospective students and their parents with an insight into university life and study opportunities based on your personal experience.
- Assist at recruitment functions and events, in-person and online, including high school visits, major expos, open day, enrolment days etc, including evening and weekend attendance. This will involve evening and weekend work as well as loading, transportation and display of promotional material and publications.
- Present on the student experience to external audiences at in-person and online events, providing a compelling account of student life at Notre Dame, helping prospective students gain a better understanding of study at Notre Dame University.
- Provide campus tours of the University for individuals and groups of prospective students.
- Opportunity to assist the Marketing and Events Office in projects and communications to promote the University including social media, and other university events
- Assist with administration tasks in various departments of the University to support overall operations and achievement of departmental goals.
- Other duties as directed by management in the Prospective Students Offices.

**About You**
- Currently undertaking studies at University of Notre Dame Australia.
- Excellent customer facing skills.
- Available to work at events outside regular business hours, including some evenings and weekends.
