Manager, Emergency Management Reform

The Manager, Emergency Management Reform, is an exciting opportunity to establish and lead a team to identify improvements to DEECA emergency management approach and arrangements. You will work with a broad range of stakeholders across the department to develop a strategic roadmap, considering DEECA's current emergency management arrangements and identifying future risks, needs and focus. If you are someone with strong policy skills, experience in government and/or emergency management and excellent stakeholder engagement skills then this is an excellent opportunity for you.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification(s) in science, law, economics, public policy, natural resource or environmental management, business management or similar is desirable.
- Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high priority projects in a complex operating environment is essential.
This is a fixed term position available until 31 June 2024. work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
