**The Role**:
Austrade is looking for talented Finance Advisers to join the Finance Branch located in the Corporate Services Group. The roles sit within the Austrade Finance Team under our Financial Accounting and Treasury Team. You’ll provide financial support and advice to the business areas at Austrade, and assist with the internal budget processes, and project and management reporting.

Your strengths will include your attention to detail, data entry and bookkeeping. Your highly developed organisational skills, ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines, capacity to respond positively to change and excellent attention to detail will ensure you can operate in our fast-paced work environment.

**DUTIES INCLUDE**:

- Data entry and general bookkeeping duties in support of business teams.
- Calculating and processing end of month journals and other journals as and when required
- Assisting in the preparation of month end reports.
- Creating and closing cost centres and Internal Order numbers and updating cost centre managers in SAP.
- Responding to queries from the service desk in relation to cost centre and ION queries.
- Update budget tracker as instructed to reflect changes in appropriations and decisions made by the Executive.
- Provide assistance in cost analysis and value for money propositions.
- Provide assistance with annual internal budget process, and mid-year review process for operating and capital expenditure.
