To support the organisation's transformation and goal to work as One Hume, the City Life Department has several exciting opportunities within the newly formed Community Centres and Venues Unit. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Community Centre Leader to manage the day-to-day operations of the Newbury Child and Community Centre and Aitken Hill Community Centre in Craigieburn.

**About You**

You are a community facility management professional who is passionate about delivering community centre services and programs within a strong customer focused environment. Your expertise will include:

- Demonstrated success in planning, developing, and delivering a variety of community development programs and initiatives.
- Proven ability to develop strategic and operational plans and to deliver programs and services that meet the needs of the local community.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the management and operation of a community facility.

**Key Skills**
- Relevant qualifications in Social Sciences, Community Development and/or considerable experience in the community sector.
- Demonstrated experience, understanding and commitment to community development practice and principles.
- Demonstrated financial management and high-level administrative skills.
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership to staff and manage complex relationships and projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated skills in managing time, setting priorities, and managing several tasks or projects simultaneously.
