About the role
We are seeking a Values-driven Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) co-ordinator who will lead the planning and implementation of ACVVS at The Salvation Army Parramatta, in accordance with the current ACVVS contract and guidelines.
You will successfully
- Develop and update internal policies and procedures for ACVVS service delivery
- In consultation with Corps Officers, prepare and manage budget & reporting to government on acquittal of funds
- Undertake day to day management of ACVVS consistent with the contractual guidelines & contract
- Manage ACVVS recipient numbers according as detailed in Funding Agreement
- Ensure all ACVVS bi-monthly, bi-annual and annual data is accurately submitted into the online portal before the prescribed closing date
- Address any issues or concerns raised by the ACVVS volunteer or the aged care service provider regarding the relationship or the recipient’s needs. Risks to volunteers, residents, staff and TSA are identified and addressed or escalated to the relevant parties.
This is a permanent, part-time (14hrs per week) position located in Parramatta, NSW. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Level 3.
You will have
- Qualifications in Community Services (favourable)
- Demonstrated experience in facilitating community-based activities/ programs
- Experience managing volunteers and/or employees.
- Computer literacy skills, ability to use data bases for recording and reporting information.
