**Instrument Technician Specialist - Grade 4**
- Full-Time_

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sterilisation Professional to provide leadership, deep domain knowledge and support to our dynamic Central Sterilising Services Department (CSSD) team at Linacre Private Hospital.

**The Opportunity**

As an Instrument Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the CSSD Manager in the daily coordination and allocation of resources within the department. This position holds a key leadership and management role within the department which will see you as a proactive role model for the sterilisation team.

**Skills and Experience**

Highly experienced Instrument Technician with current knowledge of all aspects of Sterilising Services and the requirements of AS/NZS:4187 2014.
- The ability to work across all areas of the department, including Loans with mínimal supervision and direction.
- Proven capability to undertake work of a complex nature.
- Able to demonstrate specialist skills, expertise or knowledge.
- Able to undertake additional responsibilities as required.
- Previous experience within a clinical management or leadership role is essential
- 3 years minimum experience within a sterilisation team or unit.
- Certificate lll or Certificate IV in Sterilisation Services.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to act as a positive role model and as a professional at all times.
- Demonstrated ability to nurture and develop team members with potential to advance their career

**Remuneration**

On offer is an hourly rate of $33.32 + superannuation based on experience level/qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (RHC VIC Support Services EBA).

**Requirements**:
**SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS**

All new employees
- Must be **vaccinated against Covid-19** a vaccine approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation
- Must provide a **National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a **Working-With-Children** check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases
