Additional Information:

- These roles are Permanent Part-time, 40hrs/fortnight.
- As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts ranging from 6am to 8:30pm. You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).

RECRUITMENT PROCESS
- If you are successful for this role, you will be required to attend a 2-day Welcome induction Monday 27 May and Tuesday 28 May 9am-5pm.
- If you are successful, your shifts will commence from Monday 27 May 2024.

**About this work area**

As an IKEA Food Co-worker who focuses on Goods Receiving. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Managing incoming deliveries (pallets weighing up to 200KG) from suppliers and ensuring goods are processed and stored effectively (without the use of a forklift), including regular access to the freezer and cool room (adequate clothing will be provided).
- Complying with strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines around quality and food safety, including temperature and date checks.
- Communicating with the team if any discrepancies occur in the receiving process.
- Understanding and contributing to the department’s action plans by supporting the department’s annual goals and targets.

As an IKEA Food Co-worker, you are or have:

- Proven ability to work in a high volume and fast-paced environment.
- High customer-centric approach as you will focus on ensuring our suppliers have a fast and efficient experience.
- Capability of safely carrying out heavy lifting, manual handling, product rotation, stacking, unpacking and operating manual pallet jacks.
- An energetic and team-focused approach as this department can become extremely busy.
- Basic computer skills and experience in recording inventory and have the ability to work according to tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of HACCP and/or previous replenishment experience in a large hospitality or retail environment, such as supermarkets, convention centres or airport food operations will be highly regarded.
