Additional Information:
These roles are Permanent, Part-time, 40hrs/fortnight and Temporary (until 10th November ) Part-time, 40hrs/fortnight.
The internal job title for this role is Sales Co-worker or Activity Co-worker
As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts, including availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday). The operations generally range between the window of 8am to 9pm, and rosters are published four weeks in advance.

About this work area
As Sales Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Engaging and assist customers in understanding their needs and providing your knowledge on IKEA products and services to support their purchasing decisions.
Actively participating in selling products with a positive attitude and contribute to business goals and growth.
Building strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Assembling displays for the introduction of new products.
We are looking for co-workers in the following areas:
Markethall - Textiles, Rugs & Bathshop (Temporary role, until November )
Being an expert and passionate about the IKEA product range; and actively learning about their features and benefits.
Replenishing and condensing stock levels throughout your shift and ensuring your area of responsibility is always well-stocked, correctly priced/labelled, and presentable.
Comfortable with on-the-job physical activity such as lifting, pushing/pulling, sliding/transferring of stock (rugs) which vary in size and weight.
Markethall Cookshop and Lighting
Being an expert and passionate about the IKEA product range; and actively learning about their features and benefits.
Replenishing and condensing stock levels throughout your shift and ensuring your area of responsibility is always well-stocked, correctly priced/labelled, and presentable.
Analysing sales space capacities based on system parameters to secure high stock availability.
Commercial Activity
Supporting customer enquiries and directing them to the appropriate department or location
Working closely with the Sales and wider Commercial Team to ensure all price tags are displayed correctly and visibly especially during campaigns and promotions.
Condensing stock, including unloading pallets and cutting boxes open to restock appropriate products.
As Sales Co-worker you are or have:
Passionate about learning and sharing the IKEA product range and services with customers.
Proficient computer skills and an ability to learn about all technical aspects of the IKEA IT systems.
Able to prioritise multiple tasks and thrive in a high-volume customer facing environment.
A customer-focused mindset and always strive to deliver a memorable shopping experience. Prior experience within sales or customer service in home furnishing retail is desirable.
A safety mindset; being comfortable with on-the-job physical activity and manual handling including repetitive lifting.
A Togetherness mindset where youll work closely with your team and other departments yet also be able to work independently.
