**Key responsibilities**:
You will partner with retail clients on helping them drive business growth through accurate data gathering, thorough analysis and valuable recommendations. You will also help clients create competitive business and marketing strategies and plans.

More specifically, you will:

- Define business problems through consultations with clients and provide solutions to their business needs
- Solve briefs with actionable recommendations and present the ‘so what’ based insights
- Incorporate different data sources, client learnings, and other industry insights beyond IRI data to provide meaningful and relevant insights for clients
- Build new client relationships and lead all business development activities for small to mid-size clients, identifying new commercial opportunities
- Lead the account management of assigned client portfolio, actively pursuing and maintaining collaborative working partnerships with key stakeholders, ensuring client expectations are met in line with Account Plans
- Establish efficient data gathering processes and deliver reports and databases to clients on time and with accuracy

**We're looking for**:

- 2+ years’ experience in insights or category management within a market research agency or FMCG manufacturer/retailer
- Previous experience working with scan, shopper or customer data (desirable)
- Strong account management and client service consulting skills
- A creative and curious nature, with the ability to effectively problem solve
- Proven ability to influence and motivate others
- Articulate communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and plan effectively
- A confident persona, with the capability to effectively manage client expectations
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify business development opportunities
