**About This Position**:
Bring your strong organisational and influencing skills to the role of Kingborough Council’s Property and Procurement Coordinator. This important role sits within the Governance, Recreation and Property Services Directorate and is focused on the property management space, coordinating processes for the acquisition and disposal of Council property such as buildings, sports grounds and land. The role has oversite of contracts associated to security, maintenance, and cleaning of Council assets as well as providing advice on legislation relating to the property functions.

You will play a vital role in the administration of a comprehensive contracts, tenders and procurement service for Council, including managing contracts of significant size and complexity.

To be successful in the role you will possess well developed influencing and organisational skills, strong project management and reporting skills and the ability to work across the organisation with a broad range of stakeholders.

The role is full-time with a salary in the range of $94,754 to $107,400 per annum, depending on your skills and experience.

**Mandatory Requirements**:
**Essential**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in property management, business or other relevant discipline and/or significant experience in procurement and corporate risk management policies and practices within a public sector environment.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing organisational procurement and purchasing processes within a public sector environment.
- Demonstrated experience in the preparation of technical briefs and contract specifications.
- Competent computer skills in the use of Microsoft Office products.
- Well-developed project management and reporting skills, with a demonstrated history of delivering cross-organisational projects or initiatives involving a broad range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work under limited direction, meet deadlines and work cooperatively with other areas of organisation to achieve agreed outcomes.
- Current driver’s licence.
- A satisfactory National Police check will be required.

**Desirable**
- Previous experience in the use of corporate financial and tendering systems relevant to the role.
- Understanding of Local Government governance, legislation, systems and procedures.
