**About the Role**
- This newly created position will influence and support technical representatives and leaders within the Onshore Division, to develop and deliver practices which achieve optimal safety, cost and performance outcomes. It will drive and influence continuous improvement and embed scalable solutions. The position operates from our Brisbane CBD office under a hybrid working model.

Key accountabilities include:

- Leading cross-disciplinary integration of Subsurface, Drilling and Completions, Development, Approvals and the Corporate Functions to identify, track and deliver continuous improvement initiatives that maximise business value, through cost reduction, cycle time compression and operations intensity
- Developing, implementing and managing a cross-discipline initiative tracker for well delivery execution activities, for the Onshore Division
- Developing, implementing and supporting a simplified and standardised process to frame improvement initiatives by:

- Defining the value proposition, objectives and success criteria
- Developing action plans
- Assessing and prioritising initiatives for delivery
- Gathering feedback and ensuring lessons learned are recorded and applied
- Coordinating the development and implementation of visualisation tools to track progress and measuring performance of improvement initiatives against targets
- Developing an evergreen glidepath to close the gap to the long-term plan (LTP) learning curve
- Identifying and/or support the implementation of digital transformation through new technologies, systems and processes to eliminate non-value-adding activities and enhance operational efficiency and intensity
- Providing coaching and training to build organisational capability in continuous improvement

**About You**
- You will be experienced in:

- Driving operational change, preferably within the oil and gas industry, alternatively in resources or manufacturing
- Developing and incubating initiatives by working with stakeholders in the Division and Corporate Functions
- Coaching and collaborating with business stakeholders to problem solve issues, and drive adoption and advocacy for Transformation initiatives.
- Consulting both vertically and horizontally within cross-disciplinary teams to achieve systemic and behavioural change
- Ideally, you will be degree qualified and or demonstrate significant training and experience within directly relevant role(s).
