McConnell Dowell is now recruiting for a qualified, experienced and enthusiastic Cost Administrator to join our team in Victoria.

- Operate the McConnell Dowell cost system (Workbench) for the project.
- Provide timely cost reports to management.
- Ensure all orders (commitments) are completed correctly.
- Collate and maintain docket and timekeeping registers.
- Check invoices against orders and delivery dockets and prepare for certification.
- Collect and collate work hours for employees and input into payroll.
- Administration of Sub-Contract Agreements in accordance with the specific requirements of those agreements, and / or supporting the contracts admin team.

**About you**
- Experience working in a similar administration role.
- Requires mínimal supervision, analytical and resourceful in solving problems and keeping to timeframes.
- Sound numeracy ability.
- Clear verbal and written communication.
- Eye for detail and the ability to identify errors or omissions.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and seek guidance when required.
- Proactively manage cost administration workflows, to ensure all aspects are completed within the required timeframes.
- Ability to prioritise and manage a high-volume workload.
- Strong experience in utilising the Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Sound working knowledge of HS&E requirements and implementation of same.
- Experience managing and developing junior staff members will be highly regarded.
- Experience facilitating approval processes and working within structured limits of authority or financial delegations will be highly regarded.
- Work well in both in a team or independently.
