**At Sushi Jiro**, we pride ourselves as being Australia’s benchmark for sushi innovation. Our playful adaptation of traditional Japanese dishes, that don’t stray from rigorous technique, is the accomplishment of Sushi Jiro’s expert master sushi chefs with decades of experience between them.

Sushi Jiro is reinventing Japanese sushi with over 180 delectable creations available on the longest sushi train in Victoria, all freshly handmade using premium Australian fresh produce and traditional Japanese ingredients.

The first Sushi Jiro opened in 2017 and have since grown to twenty stores across the state of Victoria. At Sushi Jiro, it’s all about fresh flavours, fresh thinking and clever innovation.

**ROLE DESCRIPTION**

**Sushi Makers**

**Junior and Senior positions available. Full Time, Casual.**

At Sushi Jiro, we pride ourselves as being Australia's benchmark for sushi innovation, we are now looking for people to come onboard the Sushi Train with us.

Multiple casual, part time & full time positions are available at our new exciting Melbourne Airport venue opening late February.

Applicants will ideally have the following experience:

- 1 year experience in a Japanese/Asian restaurant
- 1 year experience in making sushi nigiri/rolls
- 1 year experience in filleting fish highly regarded
- Previous experience within a fast-paced food & beverage retailer is ideal and is highly regarded
- Experience providing a high level of customer service
- Must be able to work between the hours of 4am - 2pm, 7am - 4pm, 12pm - 9pm and/or anywhere in between. (Flexibility across all shift times are ideal and highly regarded
- Must be available on weekdays & weekends.
- We will be mindful to put you on a rotating roster so you can have work/life balance

**Salary**: $30.95 - $63.63 per hour
