Our Carlton restaurant elevates the breakfast and brunch experience from café to full service brunch restaurant. A casual fine dining experience, for brunch. We are passionate about everything food, coffee and service, and endeavour to provide our patrons with the best, most memorable dining experience possible.
We offer full table service for up to 150 diners, providing a full a la carte menu, engaging cocktail menu and vast coffee options.
We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced, passionate, and knowledgeable Venue Manager to lead the team of our flagship restaurant, providing friendly and efficient service in a fun, vibrant location.

**What we ARE looking for**:
- Minimum 2 years' similar experience in the management of a service-driven food and beverage business
- Barista Skills and a good coffee knowledge
- Humble but confident leadership skills
- A passion for all things food, coffee and service
- Unlimited right to work within Australia as this is a full-time position.
- Weekend and Public holiday availability
- Current Victorian RSA
**What we AREN’T looking for**:
- Someone who’s not people focused, which includes both staff and customers.

**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Employee management, training and Succession planning for FOH team
- Leading ongoing training with FOH staff
- Exceptional customer service skills with a strong presence to both staff and customers
- Stock control and management
- Communication and alignment with Kitchen team
- Work with business owner and leadership team in analysing financial results and to improve efficiency and improve profitability
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to multi manage and set daily priorities
- Be a people person and a team player who guides their staff through leading by example
- Excellent communication and problem solving
- Rostering with an attitude towards budgets and service
- Awareness of promotion and marketing techniques to drive attendances
