The Emergency Department at Maroondah Hospital has an opportunity available for an Equipment Technician. This unique role will work under the direction of the Equipment Nurse and Nurse Unit Manager, and will play a vital role in the department in maintaining equipment and supplies within the Emergency Department. To be successful in this role you will be able to maintain a high level of autonomy, be both a details and big picture person, and work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.

The Emergency Department at Maroondah Hospital cares for approximately 60,000 patients per year, averaging 165 presentations per day. It comprises 35 cubicles and treatment areas, including; 3 resuscitation bays, dedicated paediatric and fast track treatment areas, and a 20 bed short stay unit.
About you
To be successful in this role you must possess;
Previous experience in asset management
High attention to detail
Demonstrated experience in meeting competing deadlines
Ability to work independently
Strong interpersonal, communication and networking skills
Current Working with Children Check
Proficient computer literacy
