Junior Category Manager - 15 Month Secondment

Join ING and take the lead in revolutionizing our procurement processes to maximize value and drive results. We are seeking a **Procurement** expert, internally known as a **Junior Category Manager**, with a keen understanding of indirect spend categories and a knack for building strong relationships. You'll facilitate the end-to-end procurement process, from request for quotation/information/proposal through to negotiation and contract finalisation.

**What you'll do**
- Cultivate a deep understanding of business unit objectives and foster strong relationships with key category stakeholders
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to support business goals and objectives
- Showcase leadership in all procurement sourcing activities
- Collaborate with senior procurement category managers to oversee supplier sourcing process, ensuring stakeholder alignment and adherence to Procurement Framework
- Lead tender and sourcing processes with guidance from senior category managers
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors throughout sourcing projects
- Ensure adherence to Bank Policies and procedures to maintain compliance

**What we're looking for?
- Proven experience and demonstrated ability in procurement processes with 2+ years' experience
- An excellent communicator with exceptional verbal, written, negotiation and presentation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office with exposure to accounting and procurement systems i.e. PeopleSoft or similar (PeopleSoft will be highly regarded)
- Experience in drafting tender documents and appraisals
