**About the role**
The position is responsible for managing the budget and forecasting process for Lifeblood’s operational revenue and expenditure. You’ll also be responsible for developing product pricing models which will enable Lifeblood to quickly and accurately review current performance under the Output Based Funding Model, and provide input into new business cases or new product and service costings.

The Budget Forecasting and Costing Analyst partners with the CFO, executive and senior management to provide reporting and financial analysis used to inform better decision making, monitor financial risk and provide budgeting expertise and advice.

This position is relied upon for its specialist advice and is recognised internally as holding responsibility for Lifeblood’s financial and budgeting processes.

- Certified Practicing Accountant, Chartered Accountant or equivalent level of experience in finance role.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence desired outcomes.
- Significant experience in financial analysis and explanation/presentation to both internal and external stakeholders at the Executive and Board level.
- Demonstrated experience in a finance or commercial management role with proven technical accounting skills and an in depth understanding of budgeting and forecasting principles and processes.
- Experienced in the implementation of cost driver analysis and financial modelling using multidimensional databases.
- Able to work unsupervised in a regional and dynamic environment.
- A confident approach with a customer service focus and ability to communicate with non-finance managers.
- Demonstrated experience working in cross functional teams.
- Strategic outlook with the ability to understand the detail and be able to visualise and communicate the “big picture”.
- Demonstrated experience in the administration and usage of enterprise reporting systems and report design.
