**The Opportunity**

Connected Care is all about providing Bupa customers with seamless and integrated health experiences, helping them Get Well and Stay Well.

As a Mission Technology lead - you will lead one of the Connected Care Missions' technology; from strategy to execution. You will bring extensive technical experience, expert collaboration and communication skills to communicate and translate deep technical concepts into business outcomes. Working with key mission stakeholders and leaders, the role will be responsible for end to end technology strategy and outcomes.

The role will be accountable for:

- **Strategy**: Define the mission’s technology strategy and roadmap aligned with Enterprise and Reference architecture and standards.
- **Collaboratio**n: Partner with Mission Leadership, Product Managers, business stakeholders, business analysts and technical development teams to deliver complex digital products and services.
- **Remove roadblocks**: Act as the bridge between business and technology strategy leaning into technical roadblocks and dependencies across squads and missions. Be the point of escalation for mission technology issues bringing a mindset of prompt resolution and negotiation towards common outcomes.
- **Deliver pipeline**: Ensure the mission is realising world class engineering practices and capabilities in the delivery of business outcomes.
- **Lead**: Form part of the Mission Technology Leadership team to ensure the competition needs of different business areas are balanced, including financial and people outcomes. Taking a positive stance, with a can-do attitude, you have a proven ability to influence all levels and take people with you on the journey to success.

**About You**

Success in this key leadership role will require you to bring:

- 7+ years with hands-on experience in designing, building, deploying and operationalising technology solutions within multi-disciplinary software delivery teams.
- Excellent team and talent development skills, with evidence of having established high performing software engineering teams, including recruitment and career development. Experience working within matrix structures, with demonstrated ability to broker outcomes effectively and collaboratively with colleagues and peers.
- Strong business acumen, you understand the bigger picture and can communicate effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
