Are you a highly skilled and experienced Fitter & Turner with a specialization in CNC machining? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join the dynamic team at **J Anderson & Co**. W.E. at Workforce Extensions, are excited to be seeking multiple Fitter and Turners/Machinists for ongoing full-time roles, local in North Geelong.

**Key Responsibilities**:
As a Fitter & Turner - CNC/Machinist, your primary responsibilities will include:

- **CNC Machining**: Utilize your extensive machining experience to set up and operate CNC machines efficiently and accurately.
- **Programming**: Develop and modify CNC programs as needed, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to quality standards.
- **Jobbing Shop Expertise**: Bring your background in a jobbing shop environment to bear, handling a diverse range of machining projects with versatility and skill.
- **Quality Control**: Maintain a keen eye for detail and consistently produce high-quality machined components, adhering to specifications and tolerances.
- **Troubleshooting**: Identify and troubleshoot issues with CNC machines, ensuring mínimal downtime and maximum productivity.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the production team, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and workflow.

**Qualifications**:

- **Extensive Machining Experience**: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining, preferably in a jobbing shop environment.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficient in CNC programming, setup, and operation. Familiarity with a variety of materials and machining processes.
- **Problem-Solving Abilities**: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC machining processes.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong focus on precision and quality control, ensuring the production of components that meet or exceed specifications.
- **Team Player**: Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team to achieve common goals.
- **Safety Conscious**: Prioritize and adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
