**The Role**

We are looking for a talented and driven **Cross Platform Producer** to join our Sydney News team on a casual basis, where you will work on a range of journalism and content production tasks, to compile content across all platforms.

Supported by a strong editorial team, you will be able to find great talent and to produce stories for the SBS World News bulletin.

An understanding of complex national and international issues is essential. You will have television news writing experience and can deliver to under deadline pressure.

You’ll be part of a team which delivers cross platform stories of the highest editorial standards that highlight Australia’s multicultural nature and celebrate diversity.

**About you**
- An experienced journalist/producer with a passion for domestic and international current affairs
- An understanding of the television production process
- Experience in bulletin line-up and the ability to work with reporting and production staff to put a bulletin to air.
- Experience in sub editing with a demonstrated ability to ensure scripts comply with strict editorial guidelines and SBS Codes of Practice.
- An ability to cover breaking news
- Strong background and knowledge of international and domestic events. In addition, you will have a sound understanding of stories which resonate with our diverse audiences, and knowledge of SBS Charter and SBS Code of Conduct.
