**Job Description**:
An exciting opportunity has become available for a **Food & Beverage Category Manager **to join our Corporate Procurement team. This role will be responsible for developing and leading the sourcing, distribution, and supplier performance management strategies across the F&B category, which includes Bakery & Bread, Non-Alcoholic Beverages, Coffee, Dairy, Fruits & Vegetables, Meat & Seafood, and Wine.

**Getting to know the role and your responsibilities**
- Develop and implement strategic category management plans that identifies key opportunities to drive value to the business
- Identify opportunities to improve supplier performance, mitigate risks and achieve savings through spend analysis, supplier sourcing, production standardization, and commodity analysis reports.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of respective supply markets, competitors and commodity pricing movements
- Manage tender process in Scanmarket and develop documentation review summary for management and stakeholder approval
- Lead the roll-out of the agreements with the hotel’s network
- Develop, implement and monitor suppliers’ service levels and performance indicators for key categories
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to define the hotels and business requirements
- Respond to hotel requests and inquiries in a timely manner
- Provide escalation points to solve issues between hotels and suppliers

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain or relevant graduate course
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Procurement / Supply Chain, preferably in Food & Beverage or fast moving consumer goods
- Previous experience with ERP systems (eg Ariba, SAP, Oracle Proc Cloud, Purchase Plus etc)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Sound understanding of basic financial principals and strong business acumen
