Our client is a highly respected and recognised ex-service organisation working in support of veterans and their families through delivery of a range of services and programs. Their mission and purpose is to raise awareness, increase social connection and deliver services which provide for a brighter future.

The
**Learning and Development Advisor** is responsible for supporting and implementing the L&D framework and a range learning initiatives with a focus on induction, compliance and capability/skills related training programs. Your role is a mix of design, development and facilitation of programs across the organisation. On a day to day basis you will:

- Review existing training materials and assets to align desired learning outcomes
- Procure training from third parties
- Conduct needs analysis and identify gaps in training
- Promote training/learning and professional development opportunities (internal, LinkedIn Learning etc)
- Support the expansion of the core capability framework and skills matrix
- Evaluate learning/training with continuous improvement
- Design quality and compliant learning programs
- Facilitate induction training
- Coordinate the central L&D knowledge centre and manage the LMS

This role will suit a Tertiary qualified individual with a minimum 3 years experience working in an L&D role, looking for a step up and opportunity to continue growing their skills. Your experience will include the ability to design and facilitate of a range of programs particularly induction and compliance training. Your passion to specialise in L&D, will see you engaging with a range of stakeholders across the organisation.

In addition, you will demonstrate:

- Experience with designing learning solutions based on adult learning principles
- An ability to conduct learning needs analysis
- Knowledge of competency frameworks, skills matrix etc
- Facilitation and delivery capability (induction/compliance/bespoke L&D solutions)
- Industry experience or alignment to working within a purpose based organisation
- Skills in evaluation of training and the ability to continuously improve
- Managing and development of content within an LMS
- Planning and highly developed organisational skills
- Articulate Storyline skills (or similar)
