**Salary**:$159,550 pa plus incidental allowance, superannuation and leave loading

**Your Role**

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager that is a logical and strategic thinker with extensive experience in any of the following trades - Building, Construction, Plumbing or Electrical.

A key focus of this role will be around managing commercial outcomes of Community, Industry & Capacity as well as, maintaining key relationships between senior managers across Department of Communities & Justice and external stakeholders.

**What we are looking for**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Proven experience in high level management and providing ongoing development and support to your team.
- Proven experience in Construction, Plumbing or Electrical
- Experience working in a high-pressure environment and managing to deliver key business objectives within set timeframes.

**Essential requirements**
- Relevant qualification in Building, Construction, Plumbing and/or Electrical.
- Current NSW driver license and preparedness to drive a vehicle in the course of performing the role
- Proven experience managing multi-faceted construction and fit out projects up to $10m.
- Ability and willingness to work across varying trades as required.
- Ability to work away from home a short notice and long periods of time.
- Current Certificate III in Correctional Practice or capacity to complete Certificate III in Correctional Practice in accordance with specified CSNSW timeframes.
