About the role


The Sentence Management Operations Officer performs administration and records management functions and services that pertain to the detention and release of inmates, either as part of a team or individually.

The role performs core processing work within a Sentence Management Operation unit, which may include liaison with external and internal stakeholders, data integrity checking/entry and general administrative tasks, you will also be responsible for undertaking specialised administrative functions including:

  • Ensuring all Custodial and Non-Custodial court orders are recorded accurately on the CSNSW database.
  • Performing processing work associated with inmate transfers and advice from courts and tribunals

About You

With your proven Administration Clerk experience supporting varied teams, you will be self-motivated, have the ability to multitask and communicate effectively.


You will possess strong technical skills which will help you plan and prioritise to successfully achieve positive outcomes for the team.

Essential Requirements:

  • Current NSW driver's license and preparedness to travel to support operational and business unit needs.
  • Must be able to undertake shift work
  • The Lodgement/Processing Unit operates 24hrs 7 days a week on a rotating 12week roster.
  • Shifts as follows
    _A watch 6am2pm, D watch 10am6pm, C watch 2pm10pm & B Watch 10pm6am._
