**About the Role**
Due to continuing growth, we are seeking a
**Heater Maintenance Technician & Driver** to join our
**Cheltenham **Branch to assist in our maintenance and deliveries of heaters to customers. Previous industry experience is an advantage but not essential.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
Your duties will include:
- Drive and foster a “Yes We Can” culture to ensure a high level of customer service throughout Supagas and its customers.
- Analyse & provide opportunities to improve safety & cost effectiveness of distribution.
- Create a culture of teamwork, loyalty, cooperation and customer focus (“yes we can”)
- Ensure external and internal customers are treated equally.
- Ensure heaters at customer premises are serviced within a timely manner.
- Delivery/dehire of heaters as required.
- Ensure all heaters are serviced and available for the branches to use by 31 March each year.
- Arrange heater IBT’s as required as and when required by the branch.
- Attend and be prepared for toolbox meetings as required.
- Ensure that the safety of staff, customers and the public is always maintained.
- Ensure monthly stocktake is completed.
- Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers as required.
- Ensure monthly BIC is completed.
- Build new heaters as required.
- Liaise with customers as required regarding their delivery.
- Prepare heaters for transport, (wash, gas, function testing).
- Compliance and adherence to all relevant Australian State and Federal Laws and the applicable standards, policies and procedures.
- Ensure you comply with, and ensure compliance with, the Australian Competition and Consumer Act 2010 and the Company Competition and Consumer Law Compliance Policy.
- Comply with relevant sections of legislation covering AS1596, AS4332, ADGC7 and Supagas Procedures & Policies.
- Other tasks as required from time to time.
**Skills & Experience**
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills, attributes:
- Hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence
- Must be able to drive a MANUAL vehicle and / or small truck
- Must be a Safety focused individual
- Positive, enthusiastic team player with a strong work ethic
- Reliability with a flexible attitude to tasks and hours
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to policies and procedures
- A "YES WE CAN" attitude towards customer service and problem-solving skills
- Valid forklift licence preferred not essential
- Basic Technical & mechanical aptitude preferred not essential
- **Current police check and demerit point statement required prior to commencement**
