**What you'll be doing**

The Procurement & Contracts Officer partners with stakeholders producing category plan/s to develop, source and manage procurement arrangements to effectively meet business objectives whilst enabling the delivery of best quality care to our community. This role will be responsible for the categories of ICT and Corporate Services.
The Procurement & Contracts Officer provides quality procurement and contract services across a portfolio of categories, including procurement planning, supplier relationship management, contract compliance and performance and risk management activities, to meet business objectives.

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed an up-to-date course of a COVID-19 vaccine (3 doses for Category A roles, 2 doses for Category B roles) which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Please provide proof of vaccination if available.

**Selection Criteria**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in contract management or category management.
- Ability to analyse financial and non-financial data to build a case for change/procurement.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable value improvements in procurement and/or maintaining contract registers.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the capacity to lead change initiatives effectively.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Experience submitting written, structured documentation that outlines procurement approaches to market and/or contract compliance and supplier performance.
- Hold a current NSW Drivers licence.
