As the Coordinator (Rehabilitation and Return to Work), you will be pivotal in providing expertise to effectively aid and guide employees in support of the relevant actions required to assist with return-to-work plans after experiencing an injury or health related challenges.

**Who you are**:

- You understand the benefits of proactively engaging with impacted employees quickly as a result of a workplace injury or health condition.
- You have experience in the provision of specialist rehabilitation services and ongoing advice to key stakeholders, with the ability to act as an initial point of contact for enquiries from UniSQ staff and managers/supervisors regarding workers compensation, including lodging a Workers’ Compensation claim or rehabilitation matters.
- You have an interest in the development of strategies and training programs that assist managers, supervisors and employees to build awareness and understanding of initiatives that facilitate rehabilitation and return to work practices.

**What you’ll do**
- Provide relevant professional experience insights into the development and implementation of the ‘Being Well at UniSQ strategy.
- Proactively communicate and undertake relevant assessments of impacted employees physical and mental health and wellbeing.
- Work closely with relevant health care professionals in the implementation of rehabilitation and return to work plans.
- Connect employees with external support services and resources that may aid in rehabilitation, resulting in successful reintegration into the workplace.

**What will help you succeed**:

- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as Human Resources, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Claims Management and Workers Compensation, or similar complemented with at least four years’ experience in the management of workers compensation and rehabilitation processes, including return to work exposure in a large organisation
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, specifically the ability to negotiate and influence appropriate outcomes for a wide-range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in effective end-to-end case management.
